The designer and owner of The Hermit Queen's Jeweller is Stacey Cornelius, a graduate of NSCAD University who has extensive experience in both fine craft and business, as well as theatre and the information technology industry. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, she has studied and worked in Banff, Alberta, Stratford, Ontario, and Dundee, Scotland.
Stacey's design method is highly materials-oriented; colours, shapes and textures provide inspiration. Her appreciation for clean, classic style bring the elements together in a collection that includes both small-scale production and one-of-a-kind pieces. The work is simple, elegant, versatile, and appeals to a wide range of clients.
